Improve stability of embed

Some users are complaining of various minor issues. Things like:

• Problems logging in, for example they can login on their laptop but not their phone

• Being told their email is invalid when they try to login

• Comments not publishing, but when they refresh the comments do show

• Comments appearing twice when you publish but ok when you refresh

I think you need to work on the stability of the embed and test it on more platforms.
